Why Men Drive Us Insane?

Even when they stink and even when they are complete jerks that don’t deserve to be even looked at, I still manage to see the good in them. You guys are great and amazing but you sure do drive us crazy. Your brain is assembled quite differently than ours and we love to hate that. The one thing we’ve been keeping from you though, you sure know how to tick us off in less than 30 seconds. Whether you’re dark, tall, and handsome, or short, geeky, and proud, you all share the same qualities, or shall I say defects?!? You panic when something goes wrong or not according to plan but hide it under you oh-so-cool exterior. You mishandle situations but pretend to know it all. You don’t listen to anybody but yourself and Andy Gray on Sky Sports. Before you think I'm some sexist freak that feeds on men’s worst qualities, no that’s not entirely true (*smirks sarcastically*). You accuse us of nagging when reality is you refuse to listen and compromise. You're really stubborn when it comes to something we’ve asked you to do a certain way. C’mon, why on earth would we repeat ourselves, nobody likes that, not even women. You are the inventors of “it’s my way or the highway”! What happened to middle ground, you know, the fast lane, somewhere in the middle we can both use? As women, it was kind of inflicted upon us to do everything around the house, and we don’t hate it. We either get someone to help or just suck it up and do it anyway as you balance your can of coke on your belly and watch TV. What really pisses us off? You complain about the house not being clean “enough”, the food not being cooked like “mama’s hot meal”, and that we nag on and on about how you don’t listen. It’s like men were born to do nothing but criticize women and expect them to just shut up about it. When it comes to their “Bros”, no they’re perfectly fine, even when they’re shooting coke out of their noses at some silly Family Guy episode. What is it with men and their bros?! There’s a whole code about it, tons of sitcoms and movies, and books too! I’m sure it’s an important relationship in their life, but should that relationship be far more important than their better half? I don’t know what it is. I don’t know what it is that you do that makes us over-look all your childish behavior and constant bullying. I don’t know why you like your friends more than us, I don’t know why it’s “bros over hoes”, I even don’t know why you keep fronting and pretending everything’s ok when beneath the surface it’s falling apart, but men, we love you. We like you the way you are; we accept you wholly and fully. We will take a bullet for you; only if you deserve it, and when you’re not looking we have always have your back, so why aren’t you loyal to us? Why don’t you appreciate us? Why don’t you try making us your “bro” we might turn out to be cool and funny when we’re not nagging. You might appreciate the 200 brain cells we have left after smashing our heads against a wall amidst conversation last night. You might actually WANT to help us when you get to hear us and carefully listen to how bad our day was. Whatever it is, you’re not perfect and we aren’t either, the only difference is we don’t rub it in your face at the nearest chance we get so cut us some slack and stop driving us crazy before we REALLY have an excuse to go koko on you!
